Glazed Porcelain Tile
Porcelain tile is ceramic tile that is typically made with "porcelain" clays that have specific properties. Porcelain tile has a much lower water absorption rate than non-porcelain tile (less than 0.5%), making them frost-resistant or frost-proof.
Glazed porcelain tile is much harder and has greater wear and damage resistance than non-porcelain tile, making them suitable for any application from light foot traffic to the heaviest residential or light commercial applications.
Porcelain tile is available in matte, unglazed or with a high polished finish.
